Working with EVRYTHNG’s IoT platform, and Rochambeau, a young fashion brand drawing inspiration from skate culture, art and the energy of New York City, we needed to develop an application to connect Rochambeau’s Bright BMBR jackets to the owner’s Facebook profile. The application was built as a pilot, starting with a prototype that was shared at a trade show and later becoming a fully functional application that could scale to a larger range of connected clothing.
The jacket included an NFC tag in the sleeve and a QR code on the label that the user would scan to create the connection. We could then deliver personalised offers through smart geo-location functionality, exclusive VIP content and product story and traceability. Eventually, the app would become an entry ticket for the New York Fashion Week using a redemption mechanism that we developed.
The customer data that was gathered through the application could then be used to deliver future experiences using EVRYTHNG’s reporting platform.
The Bright BMBR was featured on a number of leading publications as a great example of personalised experiences through connected clothing
