Creating a global platform for a filmmaking community

The challenge

MOFILM connects brands to a diverse community of filmmakers from around the world, giving brands access to localised directors and creative talent in areas relevant to their brief. With an ambitious global offering, MOFILM needed to update and refresh their design, enhance the user experience and update the legacy technology.

We worked with MOFILM to overhaul this system, delivering both a front-end platform and a digital in-house Project Management tool as part of a global rollout strategy.

The approach

Through a series of workshops, we simplified the structure, developed a clear user experience for both member types and created a scalable technical solution based on open source technologies. The result was a fresh new MOFILM product, taking 12 weeks from start to go-live. By creating a clear goal of improving the ease-of-use, we have simplified member registration and profile management allowing MOFILM to nurture and grow its community of filmmakers and creators around the world.

We have continued to evolve and improve the service by enhancing the functionality of the website progressively since the initial launch.
